A proactive person is an individual who takes decisions according to a situation rather than just simply acting like others.

  • In order to make an employee a proactive one, the management should follow the following procedures.
  • Communication is very important so as to understand the opinions of the employees and make them realise the goals of the organisation.
  • Giving the employees certain authority and more challenging tasks would motivate them and help to create a sense of belongingness. This would increase employee productivity.
