HEY Buddy...!! here is ur answer

Let, the present age of Raj's father and Raj is x and y years respectively.

According to the question :

(x–6) = 6(y–6) => x–6y = –30....(1)

x–y = 35.......(2)

On subtracting :

–5y = –65

=> y = 13 years

On putting the value of y in equation (2)

x–13 = 35 => x = 48 years

x+y = 13+48 = 61 years

So, the sum of their present ages will be 61 years.

I hope it will be helpful for you...!!

THANK YOU ✌️✌️

Let the present age of Raj be Y years.

The present age of Raj's father be X years.

Given relation between the ages of Raj and Raj's father is

Raj's father age is 6 times the age of Raj

x = 6y

Given the difference of their present ages is 35.

x - y = 35

We need to find the sum of their present ages.

By solving the two relations we have,

x - y = 35 \\ 6y - y = 35 \\ 5y = 35 \\ y = 35 \div 5 \\ y = 7

Therefore, present age of Raj is 7 years.

Present age of Raj's father is

x = 6y \\  = 6 \times 7 \\  = 42

Therefore, present age of Raj's father is 42 years.

We need to find the sum of their present ages.

x + y = 42 + 7 \\  = 49

Therefore, the sum of their present ages is 49 years.
