Six years ago, the age of mother was equal to the square of her son's age. Three years
hence, her age will be thrice the age of her son then. Find the present ages of the mother
and son.

Let,

6 years ago,

son's age was=x

mother's age=x.x

3 years hence,

son's age= x+9

mother's age= x.x +9

x.x+9= 3(x+9)

........

By calculating, we got x= 6 and -3; -3 is not taken because age can't be negative .

Now,

Present age of son is= x+6= 6+6=12[x=6]

Present age of mom is= x.x+6= 36+6=42
