Sixty students appeared in the physics and math paper of an examination. Of these 60% students passed in physics and 70% passed in math. What is the maximum percentage of students who failed in both the subjects?​

therefore, percentage of students failed in maths examination is 100-60=40%

similarly, No. of students appear in physics is 60

students passed in physics is 70%

therefore, percentage of students failed in physics is 100-70=30%

so that, the maximum percentage of students who failed in both subject is 40+30=70%
