Sixty years ago, there were only four country per cent women MP’s that has now grown to only nine per cent. Do you think, this increase in insignificant? Why?

Yes, It is completely insignificant because women constitute about 50% in society and giving them less than 40% is totally unfair and insignificant.

Women should also get chance to dominate society and country like men. Both should be given equal opportunity. In 2010, Women’s reservation bill is passed in Rajya Sabha but it is still unresolved in Lok Sabha.

This bill is passed for women in which one third of seats are reserved only for women.

In Indian women's representation in the parliament has not grown very significantly over the years. This is lower than global average. It is said that with a better representation of women in parliament women related issues can be better addressed. An equality in the participation of women is required for an equal all round development.
