it is true that the size of organism is depend on no. of cells, not based on the size of cell. for example: the egg of a hen is a single cell. But the hen which develops from the egg is not very big in size. In contrast to this a large animal like an elephant has a lot of cells (not cells of a large size) and that is what gives it a huge size. So the cell size doesnt determine the size of the organism
