RBC of Amphiuma are nucleated and oval. Amphiuma is a genus of aquatic salamanders. Amphiumas have an elongated body, generally grey-black in color. They do have legs, but they are merely vestigial and very small. Salamanders have nucleated and oval erythrocytes. It is an exception, as the other vertebrate RBC is anucleated.
