Explanation:

See First off all   Speed = Distance/Time right.

Then when you are plotting the Distance vs Time graph then just observe  any point on the speed line, then see the cordinates of that point. The Y coordinate will be of distance and the x coordinate will be of time.

Now just put these two values in the above formula and here you have got speed on the particular point

Now, For Example;

lets talk about the graph below in that graph suppose for calculating speed at point c, the coordinates of point c is (30,200).

so,

Distance = 200m

time = 30 s

therefore,    speed= Distance/Time

                               = 200/30

                               = 6.666

therefore speed = 6.666 m/s
