1] Marchantia :- a) Marchantia is a bryophyte.

b) Marchantia is called amphibious plant, as it shares two habitats, viz, sail forits growth and water for reporduction.

c) It is falt ribbon-like long and without true roots, stem and leaves.

d) Instead of roots it bears rhizoids.

e) It lacks conducting tissues which conduct food and water.

2. Funaria :- a) Funaria is a bryophyte.

b) Fanaria is an amphibious plant.

c) The plant body of funaria is differentiated into stem- like parts, leaf-like parts and root-like rhizoids.

d) It develops a capsule on a stalk during favourable conditions.

e) Spores are formed inside the capsule. The spares give rise to new plants.

3. Fern :- a) Fern are ornamental plants seem in gardens.

b) They are called ornamental as they beautify the place wherever they grow.

c) Since they are in gardens they do not bear flowers and fruit but they bear different types of attractive leaves.
