Character sketch of Gangu:

• Gangu was a boy who belonged to the Brahmin class. He was a servant boy. He was very different from the other Brahmins he did not pray daily he did not take bath in the river daily.
• He was very adamant  and he always does not have the habit of obeying his master and most importantly he does not do anything to please others. He had a broad mind his way of thinking was always different.
• He married a window named gomati which shows his opinion about other religious activity.
• He also accepted gomati’s child which was born to her previous husband. He was thus a very good man with a very kind and a very generous heart
