Sagnik, Raunak and Sugandha, all students of class IX of CJM in Ranaghat was on their way to school from home.
They have missed their school bus that day, so they decided to walk through the short-cut.
Sagnik: (Seeing some wrappers of food packets on the road) Gosh! This road is so dirty. We should have taken the main road.
Raunak: (After walking for sometime saw some kids peeing on side of the road) Eew!! I am feeling disgusted, how can they do this on the road.
Sugandha: We are also no different from them. Every day while going to school or while returning we throw away wrappers of food packets, peels of fruits even after repeated warning from the bus driver and conductor and studying in books about keeping areas clean!
Sagnik: Yes, you are right Sugandha. We should not be doing this and even we should prevent our friends from doing so,
Raunak: Yes, and if we see anyone peeing or spitting on the roads we should immediately protest. After all this wonderful country belongs to every one of us and it is our duty to keep it clean
Sugandha: I am so happy that we realised this. From today onward, we will always try our best to keep our surroundings clean as much as we can.
