Answer:

Hi mate ,

Friend A: I think the time has come now when we must change the way we celebrate our festivals.

Friend B: Yes, I also feel the same. The population, urbanization, industrialization problems in our country have caused unprecedented pollution.

Friend A: True. If we kept on following traditional life style, we will be in big trouble. There won't be any oxygen left to breathe.

Friend B: For example at Diwali we let off crackers. In the name of celebrating Diwali, people release tons of toxic pollution into the environment. We must celebrate Diwali differently. Our cities have already become polluted to the maximum. We can't afford to pollute them anymore! We must sacrifice bursting crackers. Crackers have only adverse effects; there is no single good thing associated with them! When we burn crackers, we actually burn our hard-earned money, purity of environment, jeopardize the health of children and elders.

Friend A: There is no doubt in that. I think people must realize the gravity of situation and become wiser. They should celebrate festivals but not cause pollution
