Skramari owes R$ 30,000 to Velmurgan, so he executed a promissory note in favor of
Sidhamani. Immediately after execution of this promissory note Sikhamani convicted for a criminal
offence and he acquitted after 4 years. Now Sikhamani wants to recover the debt from Velmurgan
on the basis of promissory note. Can he do so?​
