Hello !!

For you answer this question, you only need make use of this method below. See the resolution.

m = (yB - yA)/(xB - xA)

m = (2 - (-7))/(-1 - (-4))

m = (2 + 7)/(-1 + 4)

m = 9/3

m = 3

Final result : the slope is 3.

I hope I have collaborated !

  \huge \red{\mathfrak{solution}}

Given:

points are

p (-4,-7) or (x1,y1).

and

Q(-1,2)or (x2,y2)

As we know that :

slope =

  \boxed{\frac{y2 - y1}{x2 - x1} }

put the value :

 \rightarrow \:  \frac{2 - ( - 7)}{ - 1 - ( - 4)}  \\  \\  \rightarrow \:  \frac{2 + 7}{ - 1 + 4}  \\  \\  \rightarrow \:  \frac{9}{3}  \\  \\  \rightarrow \: 3

Hence the slope is

  \huge \green{ \boxed{3}}
