Slove 2x+y=6 and 2x-y=2​

2x + y = 6

2x - y = 2

4x = 8

x = 2

2x+y= 6

2*2+y=6

4+y=6

Answer:

2x + y = 6.........(1)

2x -y= 2.............(2)

Adding eq (1) and (2),

we get,

2x+y+2x-y= 6+2

=>4x= 8

=>x= 8/4= 2

=> x= 2

Now putting the value of x in equation (1),

2x+y= 6

=>2.2+y= 6

=> 4+y= 6

=> y= 6-4= 2

=> y= 2
