0 = 2x - 2

2 = 2x - 2 + 2

2 = 2x

2/2 = 2x/2

1 = x

Therefore ,

x = 1

Or

7x = 9x - 2

7x - 9x = -2

-2x = -2

x = ( -2 )/( -2 )

x = 1

- 2x = -2 [ minus(-) on both sides will be get cancelled ]

2x = -2
x = 2/2
x = 1
