from 1 x= 9-3y/2 ....eq3

substitute value of x in eq2

3( 9-3y/2) +4y = 5

27-9y/2 +4y = 5

27 - 9y + 8y /2 = 5

27 - y = 10

y = 17

substitute value of y in eq3

you will get x = ( - 21)
