slove the equation x-5÷4 - x+2÷16= x+1÷8

Algebra,

We have,

(x-5)÷4 - (x+2)÷16= (x+1)÷8

= {(4x - 20)-(x + 2)}/16 = (x + 1)8

= 4x -20 - x - 2 = 2x + 2

= 4x - x - 2x = 2 + 2 + 20

= 4x - 3x = 24

= x = 24
