sin45° = 1/√2

if you can't remember let's go with derivation

In a right angled triangle if one angle is 45° then other is 45° too(isosceles triangle)

Let equal sides be A

and Hypotenuse be C

C² = 2A² (I)

Sin 45° = A/C

and A/C from (I) is 1/√2

so sin45° is 1/√2
