 \frac{1 - x}{3} - \frac{3}{2} ( \frac{4 - x - 5}{2} ) + \frac{x + 3}{4} = 1 \\ \frac{1 - x}{3} - \frac{3}{4} (x - 1) + \frac{x + 3}{4} = 1 \\ \frac{4(1 - x)}{12} - \frac{9(x - 1)}{12} + \frac{3(x + 3)}{12} = 1 \\ 4 - 4x - 9x + 9 + 3x + 9 = 12 \\ 22 - 10x = 12 \\ 22 - 12 = 10x \\ 10x = 10 \\ x = 1
