Answer :
37 / 4 = y - 4 / 3

37 / 4 = 3y - 4 / 3 ( by subtracting )

37 / 4 × 3 = 3y - 4 ( by sending 3 to another side )

111 / 4 = 3y - 4

111 / 4 + 4 = 3y - 4

111 + 16 / 4 = 3y

127 / 4 = 3y

y = 127 / 4 × 1 / 3

y = 127 / 12

y = 10.58333

9 \frac{1}{4} = y1 \frac{1}{3}
9 \frac{1}{4} + 1 \frac{1}{3} = y
y =  \frac{37}{4}  \frac{4}{3}
y10 \frac{7}{12}

So y is 10 \frac{7}{12} .
