and 3x + 2y = -4 (2)
multiplying (1) by 3 and (2) by 2 ,we have
6x + 15y = 9 (3)
6x + 4y = - 8 (4)
Subtract (3) and (4)
11y = 17
=》y = 17/11 (5)
put y = 17/11 in (1)
2x - 5 (17/11) = 3
=》22x - 85 = 3×11
=》 22x = 33 + 85
=》x = 118÷22
=》 x = 59÷11 (6)
eqn 5 and 6 gives the solution
