SLR means statutory liquidity ratio. it is a quantitative measurement of credit control. every commercial bank keeps some percent of Reserve in the form of cash in hand, gold n other approved security to the fulfilment Of depositors.

SLR of last five years are-
in 2012 - 24percent
2013 - 23 "
2014. - 22
2015 - 21.5
n current SLR rate is 20 percent.
