$7 - 2(5 - 3x) = 4(x - 3) + 5 \\ 7 - 10 - 6x = 4x - 12 + 5 \\ - 3 - 6x = 4x - 7 \\ - 6x - 4x = - 7 + 3 \\ - 10x = - 4 \\ x = 4 \div 10 \\ x = 2 \div 5 = 0.4$
