by Pythagoras theorem :-

h² = p² + b²

h = √p² + b²

h = √6²+8²

h=√ 36 + 64

h =√ 100

h = 10

h here is hypotenuse that is the distance between two top points , p is perpendicular and b is base

answer will be 10m.
