If there isn't a table or desk near you, cover your face and head with your arms and crouch in an inside corner of the building.
Stay away from glass, windows, outside doors and walls, and anything that could fall, such as lighting fixtures or furniture.
Stay in bed if you are there when the earthquake strikes.
DO NOT use the elevators.
Be aware that the electricity may go out or the sprinkler systems or fire alarms may turn on.

here is Ur answer ,,
1 . stay indoor until the shaking stops and Ur sure it's safe to exit
2. stay away from bookcase or furniture that can fall on u.
3. drop down : take cover under a desk or table and hold on.
4. Take shelter under a table and stay there till shaking stops.
5. stay away from tall and heavy objects that may fall on u.
