This scene took place in a public place in Venice.Antonio has sent Bassanio to seek money from any other merchant at his name and fame. Bassanio is asking for money from Shylock, Bassanio gaves Shylock information about how much he wants and for how many days. After some time Antonio comes in the scene, and thereafter Shylock started using his bad tongue,Shylock memorizes about what he had done to him at the Rialto in front of his friends.Antonio says that he will again do all those things if he will repeat his mistakes. Then Shylock uses his good tongue to become a temporary friend of Antonio .Antonio fails to read the danger behind Shylock's good looking face .Shylock says that he will lend money but if the bond was not forfeited in the fixed time ,he will take a pound of flesh from Antonio's breast or body.Antonio understands that he is in friendly mood and was kidding,he accepted his conditions but Bassanio did not like his words but Antonio was confident that his ships would return in a month or two. They decided a place to sign the bond That's all in this scene Please thanks and comment also.
