It can't be determined until their values are not given , for eg:-

1) a-b = 1 - 1000 = -999
2) a = -999
3) a+ b = - 1000 + 1 = -999

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU. . . . . . . .

Hey there!
=========
For any values a,b>0

The smallest term is a-b

The greatest term is a+b

Examples :-
(a, b)= (5,2) a>b

a+b = 5+2=7
a=5
a-b =5-2=3
===================================

(a, b)= (3,5) a<b

a+b = 3+5=8
a=3
a-b =3-5=-2

===================================
hope helped!
