As going by the title, discussing on whether the Smart phones are a boon or bane for the youngsters, it is defenitely a BOON. It is because, in the olden days, our parents never had such exposure to the outer world. But now, we are highly updated than our parents. We get instant updates on what is happening around the world in a jiffy. We are able to connect with any part of the world. But the problem with us youngsters is that we don’t know how to use these boons in a proper and the right way. We are using it in a very wrong way. It is being used in a way it is not supposed to be. Most of we youngsters own a smart phone now. But how efficiently are we using it matters the most.

The present generation, we spend more amount of time in a smart phone doing nothing but simply chatting. But, chatting with our friends is not wrong, but on the phone for a long time is something that should not happen. Our own family is also equally important. But if the boon is made to good use, the outcomes are extraordinary. It is not completely necessary to be present in the social media for a long number of hours. It is a part of our life, It is not our complete life. The BOON is being transformed to a BANE by our own selves. I also think that, most of our parents have been scolding us for the large usage of smart phones. From their point of view, they are actually right. It is more important for us to socialize with our parents than socializing in the social media. My point is not to completely avoid social media, but to make a better use of it.

The youngsters are not the only set of people to be blamed. Our parents also play a major role in that. I have heard many parents say that, “Why don’t you come and talk to us instead of your friends?? why do you always stay in the virtual world and not come to reality?? ” . Here, what my point is, why do parents call the children to talk to them??. Why do they ask their children to initiate the topic?? why don’t they initiate the topic? That would be really nice if our parents come near us, sitting next to us and embracing us by putting their hands on our shoulders and just start to talk with us on any random topic!!! The feel that we get!!!! WOOOOWWW!!!!! That would be really amazing!!!! What more is required by a child of 18–19 years old than the friendly behavior of their parents with them.

I, everyday use to come across a lot of small children using smartphones. This is a very bad practice. My personal opinion is that, These children are exposed to a very bad atmosphere at a very young age. These children get to know only socializing through social networking sites and not by personal interaction. The side effects of these could really put the child in danger. And, in many a times, both the parent are working. So, in order to satisfy all the needs of their child, everything the child asks for is granted. In some of the cases, the parents after a tiresome day at work, come home full exhausted come home only to find their child eagerly waiting for them to play with them. Since, all the energy of the parents have been exhausted at work, the smart phone becomes an active tool for the child to play and interact with. Thus making the child exposed to a lot of unwanted content during a very wrong phase of life.

Thus, a smartphone can act as both a BOON or a BANE. It all depends on the way it is being used, and to the limit it is used. Thus, i request all of you to use the Smart phone in a very effective way and efficient way and request everyone to NOT ONLY SOCIALIZE VIRTUALLY BUT ALSO IN REALITY.

it is too long but I think it helps u..

Today, a kid who barely knows to speak well, knows what a mobile phone is literally. A mobile phone or cell phone is an electronic telecommunication device with the same basic capability as a conventional fixed-line, telephone, but which is also entirely portable and is not required to be connected with a wire to the telephone network. Most current mobile phones connect instead to the network using a wireless radio wave transmission technology.

Mobile phones are one of the most commonly used gadgets in today’s world. Everyone from a child to an adult uses mobile phones these days. They are indeed very useful and help us in so many ways. Mobile phones indeed make our lives easy and convenient but at what cost? They are a blessing only till we use it correctly. As when we use them for more than a fixed time, they become harmful for us.

Uses of Mobile Phone:-

We use mobile phones for almost everything now. Gone are the days when we used them for only calling. Now, our lives revolve around it. They come in use for communicating through voice, messages, and mails. We can also surf the internet using a phone. Most importantly, we also click photos and record videos through our mobile’s camera.

Moreover, we see how mobile phones have replaced computers and laptops. We carry out all the tasks through mobile phones which we initially did use our computers. We can even make powerpoint presentations on our phones and use it as a calculator to ease our work.

Disadvantages of Mobile Phones:-

While mobile phones are very beneficial, they also come to a lot of disadvantages. Firstly, they create a distance between people. As people spend time on their phones, they don’t talk to each other much. People will sit in the same room and be busy on their phones instead of talking to each other.

Moreover, mobile phones have created a lack of privacy in people’s lives. As all your information is stored on your phone and social media, anyone can access it easily. We become vulnerable to hackers. Also, mobile phones consume a lot of money. They are anyway expensive and to top it, we buy expensive gadgets to enhance our user experience.

In short, we see how it is both a bane and a boon. It depends on us how we can use it to our advantage. We must limit our usage of mobile phones and not let it control us. As mobile phones are taking over our lives, we must know when to draw the line. After all, we are the owners and not the smartphone.

“What we want to do is make a leapfrog product that is way smarter than

any other mobile device has ever been and super-easy to use”

So we are going to reinvent the phone

“There is surely a lot more that future holds with regard to mobile revolution.”
