There is no mistake.
This question confused me when I was in 9th...
It comes like that.
It's just round off.
a=9.999.....
10a=99.999999.....
10a-a=99.9999.... -9.99999
=>9a=90
=>a=10.
No mistake.
It is a bit confusing I know but it is like this. ☺
Our teacher told us the same thing...
