Answer:

4x-5y+16=0--------1

2x+y-6=0---------2

multiply equation 2 by 2 and subtract eq 2 from eq 1

-7y+28=0

-7y=-28

y=4

now put the value of 'y' in eq 2

2x+4-6=0

2x-2=0

2x=2

x=1

Answer:

4x-5y= -16 (1)

2x+y=6 (2)

now we will multiply equation (2) by 2

so we get

4x-5y = -16

4x+2y = 12

now we will do this question by elimination method

-7y = -28

y = 4

4x + 2(4) = 12

4x = 4

x = 1

Hope it help you
