_________________________

• Given :-

Smita's mother is 34 years old.

Two years from now mother's age will be 4 times smita's present age.

• To find :-

Smita's present age.

• Salutation :-

Let the present age of Smita be x years

4 times of Smita's present age = 4x years

2 years later mother age will be ( 34 + 2 ) = 36 years

So according to the question ,

4x = 36 [ • As given , Two years from now mother's age will be 4 times smita's present age. ]

x = 36 / 4

x = 9

•°• x = 9 years [ ★ Required answer ]

Therefore , the present age of smita is 9 years.

 \bf{ \red{Heya !! }}

 \bf{ \blue{ Here \:  is  \: the \:  answer !! }}

Information given :

Present age of Smita's mother = 34 years.

Present age of Smita = x (Assume as x as it's unknown).

After two years :

Smita' age = x +2

Age of Smita's mother = 34+2 = 36

But it's given that after two years Smita's mother age is four times of Smita's present age.

4x = 36

x =36/4

x = 9 years.

Therefore , Smita's present age =x = 9 years.
