Smita was given three liquids. She was led to identify the liquids by testing their burung
capacity. She took the liquids in different in dishes and marked them as A,B and C. Brought them near the flame of the candle. The observations is as follows :-
The liquid in A was highly inflammable immediately it caught fire within a very short time the liquid disappeared.
B took little time and the flame spread into the dish and after sometime the liquid disappeared leaving the dish sticky.
In C after sometime bubbles started coming out from the liquid and it took comparatively longer time for the liquid to disappear. The flame did not spread into the dish.
Identify the conclusions:
a) A - petrol , B - Cooking oil and C - water.
b) A - water , B - Cooking oil and C - Petrol.
