The diseases which commonly move from an affected person to someone else in a variety of ways can be termed as communicable diseases.
Examples of such disease is common cold or Rhinitis(including running nose).As smite is also suffering with this disease,which can spread every easily form one person to another.
Preventive measures are:
1.Isolation
2.Use of protective devices like mask or hand kerchief when sneezing,coughing,etc
3.Wash hands before eating and after toilet.
4.Use appropriate medicines prescribed by doctor.

In this case, Smite is suffering from Allergic rhinitis or common cold. As it is has high risk of spreading from infected person to others she was made to sit separately in classroom.

1. To avoid exposure to air borne microbes, adopt living conditions that are not crowded.
2. Maintain Hygienic environment , personal hygiene and proper balanced diet food.
3.Regularly cleaning cushions,pillows, soft toys, curtains etc e.
4. Avoid using woollen blankets rather prefer to use acrylic blanket.
