The tobacco mixture used also contains trace quantities of Tar, which causes lung damage and can increase the likeliness of Lung cancer and other related illness. It also restricts air pathways in the lungs causing normal breathing to be incredibility hard.

Worse still, the withdrawal symptoms can be extreme in some people, and usually depend on the amount of time they have been perpetuating the habit. Individuals become violent and may need therapy.

All in all, smoking is one of the worst habits a person can have, period.
