There will be an energy crisis. Very few nations like Costa Rica and Iceland will be able to keep up as their energy needs are met solely by Renewable energy sources.
Renewable energy sources cannot meet the energy needs of the world as it stands. Hybrid systems might come to the rescue of the world but then, it is still a field under development.
I hope this doesn't happen. Energy is life.
