Step-by-step explanation:

distance between them=2.7m

convert 1m=100cm

=2×100+.7=200.7

distance after moves=33mm

convert 1cm=10mm

33×10=3.3

total distance=200.7+3.3

=204.0cm

new distance= the new distance-the snail moves

204.0-3.3

=200.7 cm

the new distance between them=200.7
