1.      Andrew says this because he brought the newly born baby of Morgans. This gave him immense satisfaction and contentment.

2. It is absolutely true. There is a considerable difference between textbook medicine and the world of a practicing physician. Dr. Andrew used his practical experience to revive the newly born baby. He had learnt that technique during his training.  

3. Yes, I know many incidents in which people were brought back to life from the brink of death through medical help. Once my cousin sustained a brain injury. She was unconscious; however with the medical help she recovered.
