She asked her to add 5 to the product and multiply the result by 2. Then she asked her to divide the result by 10 and to subtract the sum of the digits from this number. Sneha told Kriti that number left is 1. Kriti is amazed.

Let the two digits number think by kirti was (10x + y) .

so,

→ Digits sum * 5 = 5(x + y)

now,

→ Add 5 and multiply by 2 = 2{5(x + y) + 5}

now,

→ Divide the result by 10 and subtract the sum of digits = [2{5(x + y) + 5}] / 10 - (x + y)

number left is 1.

so,

→ [2{5(x + y) + 5}] / 10 - (x + y) = 1

→ (5x + 5y + 5)/5 - (x + y) = 1

→ (5x + 5y + 5 - 5x - 5y) = 5

→ 5 = 5 (satisfied) .
