Snow sledged doesn't have wheels as it is difficult for a round surface to move on a slippery and soft surface like snow! Snow sledges are flat as flat surfaces doesn't slow down due to snow are it can easily run on Snow!

snow sledges are made so that they can create a well acquired friction and move in snow easily........
but
if we provide it with wheels it will be difficult for a round surface to move on a slippery surface ..
hence it will be as a disadvantage...

so
as we know with the relation that as a surface area increase then the pressure decrease...but when surface area decrease pressure increse both are inversly propotional to each other...hence wheel provide less surface area it means that great pressure will be thrre so wheel may stuck making it difficult to move in snow ....
