So here is the today's Rapid aptitude test.

Shilpa is 19 years old and she studies in 12th class. Recently she became a close friend of a 22 year old college student. They decided to meet in a hotel room at 10 pm.

She left her home and it was 9 o'clock in the clock on the wall of her home as well as in her wrist watch. She told her parents that she will be back at sharp 12 O'clock. She reached the hotel room and her wristwatch and the clock on the wall of the hotel room were showing the same time and it was sharp 10pm.

But the thing is that Prakash did some experiment on the clock on the wall of the hotel room and it was running slow so that he can spend more time with her. Now for every actual one hour this clock loses 10 minutes. That means for every 60 minutes this clock covers only 50 minutes.

They spent some time in that room. She left from the hotel room and came back to her home and then he checked the time .She was on time and the clock on the wall of her home showing sharp 12 O'clock.

So, the question is what time the clock on the wall of the hotel room was showing when she left the hotel room.?

She reached the hotel at 10pm and came back home at 12.

It means time spent = 2 hr or 120 min.

For every hour or every 60 min clock covers 50 min.

Show when watch spent 2hr or 120 min clock covers on 100 min or 1hr & 40 min.

So the clock covers 1hr and 40 min after she reach hotel.

It means she left hotel at 11:40.

as shilpa reaches the hotel room in 1hr and she reaches her home at 12:00
so the actual time was 11:00pm and as the hotel room clock is 10 mins late and in total 20 mins late as she stays for 2 hrs so the time would be11:40pm
