Hi...

Here is your answer....
(2)

Given :
AC= 24cm
BC=10cm
O is the centre of the circle.

AB =AO+BO =diameter of the circle.

By pythogorus theory,
(ab) {}^{2} = (ac) {}^{2} + \: (bc) {}^{2}
On solving, we get
AB=26

Radius of the circle =26/2
=13

Area of shaded region = area of semicircle - area of triangles

Area of semicircle =
\pi \: r {}^{2} \div 2
3.14 \times 13 \times 13 \div 2
530.66 \div 2
265.33cm2.

Area of triangle=
1/2×b×h
1/2×10 ×24
24×5
=120cm2.

Area of shaded region =265.33-120
=145.33 cm^2.

Hope my answer will help you...
