b= 4,a= 4,c= -3
p(x) = 4x^2+4x-3
p(x) = 4x^2-2x+6x-3
p(x) = 2x(2x-1)+3(2x-1)
p(x) = (2x+3)(2x-1)
2x+3=0,2x-1=0
2x=-3,2x=1
x=-3/2,x=1/2
are the zeros.
relationship between zeros and coefficients -
sum of zeros = -b/a
-3/2+1/2 = -4/4 = -b/a
-2/2 = -1
-1 = -1
product of zeros = c/a
-3/2×1/2 = -3/4 = c/a
-3/4 = -3/4
