Given :-

x = (-3).

We have to find that x is solution of the given equation. or not?

Given equation = x² + 6x + 9

➡ Put the value of x in the equation.

➡ x² + 6x + 9 = 0

➡ (-3)² + 6(-3) + 9 = 0

➡ 9 + (-18) + 9 = 0

➡ 18 - 18 = 0

➡ 0 = 0

We see that, LHS = RHS = 0

So x = (-3) is the sotution of given equation.

Hope it will help you !!!
