Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Air pollution is the contamination of air due to the presence of substances in the atmosphere that are harmful to the health of humans and other living beings, or cause damage to the climate or to materials. There are many different types of air pollutants, such as gases, particulates, and biological molecules. Air pollution can cause diseases, allergies, and even death to humans; it can also cause harm to other living organisms such as animals and food crops, and may damage the natural environment or built environment. Both human activity and natural processes can generate air pollution

The different components of air includes – 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.9% argon, 0.04% carbon dioxide, and about 1% water vapour. Air plays an important role in breathing and burning. The existence of life on the planet earth is mainly because of the presence of air.

The other three dominant gasses are oxygen (O2), which makes up ~21% of the atmosphere, argon (Ar) at ~0.9%, and carbon dioxide (CO2) at ~0.04% of the atmosphere. There are other gasses as well that make up a really small portion of the atmosphere (<<1%), and those are neon (Ne), helium (He), methane (CH4), hydrogen (H2), and krypton (Kr).
