SO2+H2O gives H2SO3 ..... how did H2 come in front

it is the way of writing the formula of H2SO3.instead the reaction could be written as H2O+SO3 gives H2SO3.but H2SO3 can not be written as SO3H2 because in all the hydrogen covalent compounds (except for hydrogen and carbon compounds) Hydrogen is written first.

For example-H2O

HCl

HNO3,etc.

h2 comes first because it is the formulae and formulae cant be change . however it can be written as h2o+so3 but the formulae is h2so3 so h2 comes first
