Explanation:

Due to change in the temperature soaked seeds in refrigerator does not undergo germination process.    

The process of germination of initial shoot system from the seed is called as sprouting. The seeds sprout usually in a warmer temperature as they obtain it through the sunlight from the nature.

When they are refrigerated they are exposed to the cool temperature which doesn’t favor the sprouting process. It inhibits the metabolic activities involved in sprouting of the seeds.
