Malpractices and unfair means used  during elections are:

1. Making a lot of fake promises.
2. Bribing voters. Serving liquor free to innocent voters.
3. Accusing other contestants.
4. Raiding and seizing polling booths.
5. Hurting , intimidating and killing other contestants.
6. Using government resources.
7. Using public funds.
8. Manipulating the voter list.
9. Obstructing the voters.
10. Using black money.
11. Not declaring their properties and assets.

There are a lot of rules, guidelines and acts by government and election commission to prevent the malpractices. It is terrible to see elections held unfairly.
