Social disparity was one of the main cause of the French Revolution as the community was divided into 3 estates, the clergy , the nobility and the common people . In this people of the 3 estate alone had to pay tax to the government and a special tax to the churches called tithes. Louis 16 was the ruler of this period and afterwards he was guillotined in cause of treason . People of the 3rd estate alone no longer had to pay tax . The churches were removed and offices were made . This time the ruler was the leader of the jacobins club , maixmillian Robespierre.
