Social disparity was one of the major cause of the french revolution because the nobility and clergy were the privileged classes that were exempted from taxes while only third estate had to pay the taxes and the taxes were going to increase. The prices of bread were increased due to bad harvest but the wages if the labourers didn't increase. It causes a huge gap between the rich and the poor So, this angered the memebers of the third estaste and this led to the outbreak of French Revolution.
